THE BEST CYCLING BIKES FOR MOUNTAIN RIDES

Going out on the mountain trails can be a lot of fun but at the same time it can be a great workout. The first thing I figure out before I plan to leave for the trials is what kind of terrain I would be riding on. This is the most important thing because you don’t want to be on really rough grounds with a bike like a hybrid. Because there only designed for a smooth surface like a paved road and such. Mountain Bikes are specifically designed for riding on rough mountain like surfaces such as dirt trails and or mountain trails. Therefor the name of the bike style is called a mountain bike. A mountain bike is built on a sturdy frame that can withhold a lot course wear and tear designed for a hard hitting surface. With their over sized tires that have a very tough tread for maximum traction would be ideal for mountain rides. Another feature that sets a mountain bike apart from a road bike is the suspension systems that they have. Made to take a beating on ledges and rocks which wont cripple the bike unlike the others. The shifting feature for a mountain bike have multiple high and low gears that can easily be shifted depending on what you’re riding on. If you are riding at a slow pace and are trying to battle riding up a steep trail all you would have to do is shift into a lower gear and that would make your pedaling be much easier. Same for if you are going down a rather steep trail, the heavy duty brakes that a mountain bike is known to have is a life saver when you a cruising and need to stop on a dime. Whenever you’re in a terrain that changes all the time just like when you go on mountain rides. A mountain bike would do the trick for you.
